We've been obsessed with Sofia Coppola since we were mere teens. The first baby picture my mother has of me (out of the hospital), she is holding me in front of the Gucci store in NYC's midtown. She is the epitome of 70s chic: bell-bottoms, wedge heels, trench coat, large sunglasses (Rachel Zoe would be proud) and I, well I am a baby. I'm wrapped in swaddling. But I'm also pointing at an array of Gucci monogram bags and giggling. We should have known then.
