Ok, so we weren't exactly worried after Christophe Decarnin's . . . um . . . abrupt departure from Balmain but we did think somewhere in the back of our mind that noone, but noone, could replicate the sort of slouchy rocker chic that Decarnin had nailed season after season. Boy were we wrong.

We live in LA, where it's hard to argue with Tinseltown's direct influence on fashion. But, entertainment is not just about celuloid chic. Musicians wield just as heavy a sword over aesthetics as do their acting compadres. And truth be told, as much as we look to film for inspiration, we've also got our eyes on who's rocking out.
